The Challenge

Learning analog typesetting from scratch, unifying very different techniques — letterpress, scanner collage, experimental layout — into one cohesive magazine look with an unconventional type mix.

The Solution

Stripped away all color to put full focus on the craft. Combined playful, experimental typography with a minimalist principle. Matte black cover with glossy black print for subtle light play. Eggshell-colored paper inside with pleasant haptic quality. The magazine must be physically rotated — making typography an active experience.
